It’s amazing how fast you can think. Sheree said: “I’ve bought you a present,” an I got thru: ‘It’s not my birthday. OMG - It’s not our anniversary, is it? What if it’s the anniversary of sumpthin like our first kiss - girls do that stuff! Am I supposed to have got her sumpthin? No, I spect she saw sumpthin on speshul an thought I’d like it’ - all in a flash, an not missin a beat I said: “Great! What is it?” an I even had the time to get me mashers up in some sort of grin so’s she wouldn’t notice me panic. “It’s a tall boy.” Well, there’s nuthin youse can really say to that, is there! So I just stand there like a guppy with me mouth open an she goes: “I knew you’d be pleased.” Now, you an I both know I haven’t got a fukkin clue what she is on about so she grabs me by the arm an in that happy daze of hers, she drags me into the bedroom an I am beginning to dread what I might see…
